Enevo, Inc., the US subsidiary of the leading international smart waste technology company Enevo Group, has transitioned away from providing managed waste services in the US and returning its focus entirely to continuing developing and supplying its award-winning sensor technology and software solutions to both commercial and public sector waste management providers.
Enevo’s patented sensor technology monitors container fill levels and collections while its analytics software employs sensor data to create optimal service schedules and insights to actual waste behavior. Resulting collection schedules and routes drive the fewest number of miles while avoiding container overflow, eliminating unnecessary collections and carbon emissions. Enevo’s customers decrease operating costs while increasing efficiency and sustainability.
Enevo Group was recently recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Tech Pioneer for its innovative technology and practical use in the waste world and the benefits it creates for communities globally.
June 1st, 2020 Enevo transitioned its managed waste services customers to the care of RTS, a leading waste and recycling company out of New York City. Transitioning customers will continue benefiting from Enevo’s technology. RTS will integrate Enevo’s proprietary smart waste container sensors and monitoring software features into its robust technology services platform.
Following its award and transition, Enevo will continue to further develop and grow its technology offering to meet the needs of all major waste management segments, from small regional waste haulers to large smart cities. All Enevo hardware and software are developed solely by Enevo’s in-house R&D organization – allowing for optimal performance and quality control. New sensor models and software solutions are being prepared for release later in 2020, targeting commercial waste haulers and 3rd party management companies.
